* C.R.I.M.

An internationally recognized haven for innovative filmmaking, * C.R.I.M. is based in Lisbon, Portugal.

We produce since 2005 feature and short fiction films, creative documentaries, television series as well as visual and performing arts projects.

* C.R.I.M. was founded in order to create a structure which could turn creative energy into concrete projects. Nowadays, we join talents, potentialities and artistic agencies to make experimental, philosophical and poetic films with critically reflective methods based on innovative processes and tailored production models.

We position ourselves in a constantly changing audiovisual media landscape and art world. We are interested in artistic research projects, essay films, cross-genre proposals, experimental approaches, expanded cinema and new technologies. We believe in films that ask questions, provide ethical and aestethical experiences, and provoke socio-political innovation in a world of huge challenges for the future.

* C.R.I.M. stands for the initial letters of the names of its associate partners Christine Reeh-Peters and Isabel Machado.
